Cross the Line ist die erste Einzelausstellung von Yeun Song, die in Dresden lebt und arbeitet und an der Hochschule für Bildenden Künste studiert. Die in Südkorea geborene Künstlerin ist Preisträgerin des 2021 ausgelobten Stephanie Zonta Kunstpreises. Die Galerie Stephanie Kelly verlieh den Kunstpreis gemeinsam mit dem Zonta Club Dresden e. V., einem weltweiten Zusammenschluss berufstätiger Frauen, die sich dafür einsetzen, die Lebenssituation von Frauen im rechtlichen, politischen, wirtschaftlichen und beruflichen Bereich zu verbessern. Aus diesem Wunsch heraus stiftete der Zonta Club Dresden ein Preisgeld und ermöglicht damit die Förderung junger und regionaler künstlerischer Positionen.

Yeun Songs künstlerische Praxis widmet sich Distanzen und Beziehungen in Installationen und der Darstellung begrenzter Räume. Dabei nutzt sie architektonische Elemente wie Wände, Säulen, Pfeiler, Fenster und Baumaterialien, unter anderem Beton, Holz und Metall.

Cross the Line is the first solo exhibition of Yeun Song, who lives and works in Dresden and studies at the Hochschule für Bildenden Künste. The South Korean-born artist is the winner of the 2021 Stephanie Zonta Art Prize. The Stephanie Kelly Gallery awarded the art prize together with The Zonta Club Dresden e. V. is part of a worldwide association of professional women who are also committed to improving the lives of women in the legal, political, economic and professional spheres. Out of this desire, the Zonta Club Dresden donates the prize money and thus enables the promotion of young and regional artistic positions.

Yeun Song's artistic practice is dedicated to distances and relationships in installations and the representation of limited spaces. Therefor she uses architectural elements, such as walls, columns, pillars, windows, and building materials, including concrete, wood, and metal.
