Blastoff! AnnieQuinn invites you to come inside. We’re interested in getting to know you, in configuring your unique place inside our algorithm. Come experience our growth together, as we open up new pathways into your potential wellbeing. Our proxy representatives are recruited from within the AnnieQuinn associate program before being TETRA certified, a process which you will experience firsthand. This allows us to incorporate the unique qualities that you possess into the future of AnnieQuinn. You are AnnieQuinn!
AnnieQuinn is a multi-disciplinary performance and audio/visual series investigating the ways that hyper-late-capitalism commodifies and fractures identity, the body, and society as a whole. It abstracts the systems of indoctrination that corporate and political bodies implement in order to mass distribute ideologies, blur lines between user and product, and create working environments in which employees are convinced their is no division between work and play, work time and free time.
These vast and multi-faceted systems of alienation, repression, and commodification lead to a state of floating bodies in which individuals understand themselves as something outside of themselves, belonging to a larger floating entity that threatens to encompass all aspects of life.
AnnieQuinn seeks to counter these techno-fantasies of optimisation and trans humanist dystopias of leaving the body for a digital after-life. By sewing the seeds of resistance from within the system itself, AnnieQuinn wants to create a dialogue about creating new systems of negotiation centred around acceptance of fluid identities, embodiment, and human connection.
