"Hamada is a psychedelic rock band founded in 2022 by six musicians from Lille out of a common desire: to offer an ode to freedom and to the journey, both physical and interior. It is with this intention that the members of Hamada intertwine various musical and artistic influences, offering a mix of captivating folk-music, solar psych-rock with Californian, rhythmic vibes, catchy Andalusian and folk melodies, typical Turkish sounds from the seventies, all giving a soul and a unique sound that defines Hamada. This feeling is complemented by universal texts in French, English, Spanish, Khmer and Turkish, breaking borders as much as music does. Since 2023 they have played several clubs in Lille, Paris and Amsterdam sharing the bill with groups such as Hippie Hooray, Elephant Stone and The Telescopes."
