Jeden Montag könnt ihr uns ab 15 Uhr im Montagscafé im Kleinen Haus besuchen, bei freiem Eintritt inklusive Getränke, Suppe und Kulturprogramm. Heute laden wir euch ab 19:00 Uhr zur Lesung von KOMM DAHIN WO ES STILL IST mit Vanessa Vu und Ahmad Katlesh ein!
In ihrem neuen Buch geht es um die Auseinandersetzung mit den eigenen Erfahrungen zu Flucht, Asylsuche und Migration, die zwei Menschen zusammenbringt: Die Geschichte einer Annäherung und zugleich ein intimer Einblick in die Realitäten von Menschen mit Fluchtgeschichte in Deutschland.
Ahmad Katlesh ist Schrifsteller und floh nach der syrischen Revolution aus Damaskus. Vanessa Vu ist Journalistin und verbrachte ihre Kindheit im Asylbewerberheim in Pfarrkirchen. Ihrer Arbeit widmet sie sich Fragen rund um Migration, Rassismus und sozialer Gerechtigkeit.
Das erwartet euch jeden Montag im Montagscafé:
15.00 – 17.00 Uhr: Internationales Frauencafé mit Kinder-Spielecke
17.00 - 19.00 Uhr: Beratung mit wechselnden Initiativen
17.00 - 22.00 Uhr: Offenes Café mit wöchentlich wechselndem Programm
Every Monday from 3pm, you can visit us at the Montagscafé at Kleines Haus, where you can enjoy free admission, including drinks, soup and a cultural programme. Today we invite you to a reading of KOMM DAHIN WO ES STILL IST with Vanessa Vu and Ahmad Katlesh from 19:00!
Their new book is about dealing with their own experiences of flight, asylum-seeking and migration, which brings two people together: the story of a rapprochement and at the same time an intimate insight into the realities of people with a history of flight in Germany.
Ahmad Katlesh is a writer who fled Damascus after the Syrian revolution. Vanessa Vu is a journalist and spent her childhood in a centre for asylum seekers in Pfarrkirchen. Her work is dedicated to issues relating to migration, racism and social justice.
