Claudia Christoffel studied media and visual communication at the HFBK in Hamburg. She received the Erasmus scholarship in Reykjavik and trained there with Roni Horn. Claudia Christoffel is BOSS* and yet recognises herself in her role as an artist as a side effect in art history - whether she likes it or not. The terms BOSS* and side effect have been embroidered on sweatshirts by the conceptual artist, who presents herself in photographs with red-painted lips that appear to be smiling slightly. The work does not provide a clear interpretation.

These photographs, as well as other socially critical and humorous works, can be seen in the WERKRaum at GEH8. Every visitor can look at themselves in a mirror as a feminist without any side effects or permanent damage and, if they wish, take a liking to it.

The year 2024 is dedicated to the motto: "The Winner Takes It All" at GEH8. With this in mind, an exclusive BOSS* dinner with the artist and LITTOPIA will be raffled off at the vernissage.

Beforehand, all guests can attend the experimental literature format
LITTOPIA (Kathrin Assauer and Silke Tobeler), who will take over the WERKRaum with their reading performance "Chair Dance".

But then the room will be closed for dining for the exclusive BOSS* of the evening.
