You Should Get To Know Us - Rock
You Should Get To Know Us (NL) and Cowgirl (UK) will play Mondfisch as part of their European tour. Two times garage rock, two times fun.
You Should Get To Know Us is a four-piece rockband from Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The band released two Eps, Faceland (2017) and Useful Casanovas (2018), and recently their first full length album Hole in Whatever (2019) with UK-based indie label Desert Mine Music. You Should Get To Know Us’ music is both loud and melodic and strongly reminiscent of the 90s slackerrock as performed by Pavement, Fountains of Wayne, The Breeders and alike.
Cowgirl have three critically acclaimed releases to date on Desert Mine Music UK (Sam Forrest, Nine Black Alps' label). These are She Picks Me Up, You're Not There and Different Ways.
The band is the soul child of Danny Trew Barton & Sam Coates, their current line-up features Tom Robinson of ZoZo and Jack Holdstock of The Federals. They hail from York, Leeds & Manchester. Having played shows up and down the country they are renowned for their explosive live performances.
