Jeden Montag könnt ihr uns ab 15 Uhr im Montagscafé im Kleinen Haus besuchen, bei freiem Eintritt inklusive Getränke, Suppe und Kulturprogramm. Heute laden wir euch ab 20 Uhr zu einem Konzert von MARIANA SADOVSKA & VESNA ein:
Für dieses Projekt hat sich Mariana Sadovska mit dem deutschen Perkussionisten und Electronica-Spezialisten Christian Thomé zusammengetan und eine sich ständig verändernde Collage aus alten ukrainischen Volksliedern und zeitgenössischen elektroakustischen Klängen geschaffen. »Wie nebenbei geht Mariana Sadovska den Weg von der Melancholie der ukrainischen Folk-Musik bis zum Heavy-Metal-Wutschrei, der lauten Klage zum Schluss… Die Künstlerin legt so viel Emotion in ihre Stimme, dass man Gänsehaut bekommt.« (taz)

For this project, Mariana Sadovska teamed up with German percussionist and electronica specialist Christian Thomé to create an ever-changing collage of old Ukrainian folk songs and contemporary electroacoustic sounds. ‘As if in passing, Mariana Sadovska moves from the melancholy of Ukrainian folk music to the heavy metal scream of rage at the end... The artist puts so much emotion into her voice that it gives you goosebumps.’ (taz)
