TRANS EUROPE HALLES CONFERENCE #87

Since 2017, Zentralwerk has been a member of Trans Europe Halles (TEH), a network of self-organized cultural centers with over 100 members in 20 countries. In May 2019, Zentralwerk will host one of TEH's annual meetings in the form of a conference focusing on arts and participation.
TEH (Trans Europe Halles) Conference #87 aims to share and exchange methods for activating civil society and independent creative and cultural actors through artistic means and strategies, the training of stakeholders and the development of recommendations for action for the cultural and creative industries.
5 panels, 22 workshops, participative performances, exhibitions, talks, meet & greet and a closing party in Zentralwerks newly opened grand ballroom.

Das Zentralwerk ist Teil von TRANS EUROPE HALLES (TEH), einem von Künstler*innen und Aktivist*innen gegründeten europaweiten Netzwerk kulturellen Zentren in freier Trägerschaft mit über 100 Mitgliedern in 20 Ländern.
Die bereits 87te Konferenz der TRANS EUROPE HALLES, der Kulturzentren aus ganz Europa, wird in diesem Jahr im Zentralwerk in Dresden stattfinden. Für das Zentralwerk kommt die Konferenz genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt, kann doch so, nach der langen Crowdfunding-, Bau- und Konzeptionsphase, die intensive inhaltliche Arbeit mit spannenden Projekten aus ganz Europa intensiviert werden.
Das Zentralwerk stellt die Konferenz unter das Motto pARTizipation und fragt damit nach lokalen und internationalen Methoden zur Aktivierung der Zivilgesellschaft und Nachbarschaft durch künstlerische Strategien.
Mit 250 Akteur*innen aus ganz Europa und einem für alle offenen künstlerischen Rahmenprogramm analysiert, diskutiert und feiert das Zentralwerk im Europawahlmonat Mai die Potentiale von zivilgesellschaftlichem Engagement durch Kunst und Kultur.
5 Panels, 22 Workshops, partizipative Performances, Ausstellungen, Gespräche, Meet & Greets und eine Abschlussparty im dann neu eröffneten Saal des Zentralwerks. Mehr Informationen zum Programm finden sich bald hier.
