Es ist schon ewig her das wir uns als Großgruppe gesehen haben  Deshalb laden wir euch alle zu nem Picknick am Donnerstag , den 10.8 ab 16:30 am japanischen Palais ein! 

Es wird ganz entspannt, einfach um mal wieder ein wenig zu connecten und zu quatschen - damit das Netzwerk mal wieder aktiviert wird :) 

Bringt gerne snackies, Salate, Brote, aufstriche, decken, spiele und alles auf was ihr Lust habt mit!

Mit dem offenen DJ*-Treff soll ein Raum geschaffen werden, der allen Menschen einen Zugang zur Musik, zur Subkultur und zum Auflegen bietet, denn auch dieser gesellschaftliche Bereich ist von vielfältigen Barrieren geprägt. Vielen Menschen ist der Zugang dazu verwehrt. Wir wollen genau diesem etwas entgegensetzen.

Rotura sind zu Besuch im Eckladen. Melodischer Anarchopunk für Fans von Bands wie Accidente, Elektroduendes und Patsy Stone.

Außerdem am Start sind St.Upid aus Halle mit einem verrückten Stilmix irgendwo zwischen NoWave und Heavy Metal. Wie immer geht es früh los (19h), weil wir aus Rücksicht auf die Nachbarschaft ab 21h nicht mehr so laut sein dürfen.

Grave Miasma (UK)

‘Abyss of Wrathful Deities’ is Grave Miasma’s fifth release, the latest in a 19-year
sonic exploration of the transcendental essence and nature of death.
Nine tracks of pounding, dark Death Metal await the listener, rooted in the adoration
of mysterious Tibetan burial rites and shamanic passages to other worlds. Trading a
little of the cavernous atmospheres of previous releases for the traditional Metal
currency of speed and aggression, ‘Abyss…’ still sounds immediately and inimitably
like Grave Miasma.
Preserved from the cremation pyre of a previous entity in 2006, Grave Miasma have
emanated the foulest spirits live around the world since 2003. After the release of
‘Endless Pilgrimage’ in 2016, Grave Miasma performed in Latin America, Australia,
the US, Israel, Turkey and across many European countries. During the course of
their career, Grave Miasma has featured at prestigious festivals such as Roadburn,
Kill-Town Death Fest, Maryland/ Netherlands Deathfests, Dark Mofo, Desertfest,
Beyond the Gates, Steelfest and Til Dovre Faller.
Experience the hellish descent towards otherworldly chasms through a thousand
shades of death!

Sijjin (Ger)

From beyond the gates of perception, the new power trio of Sijjin arrives on the
scene. Deeply rooted in the 80ties, where Death and Thrash Metal melted into a
furious, fast and occult brand, Sijjin`s music is as raving as this music should be.
The lineup of Sijjin consists of old veterans as Malte Gericke (Bass & Vocals) and
Ivan Hernandez (Drums) are both being known for their work in Necros Christos,
while guitar wizard Ekaitz Garmendia hailing from Basque Thrashers Legen Beltza
among others.
The first demo entitled Angel Of The Eastern Gate was unleashed in 2019, officially
distributed by Sepulchral Voice Records on tape. A re-release on CD and vinyl will
follow soon. In 2021 their debut full-length Summerian Promises was released to
worldwide acclaim.
Behold, as this is Death Metal.
Feel your mind being shifted into a black void of utter chaos, where primaeval atoms
still roam in bizarre ways, a region of horrible contortions, where amorphous entities
lurk in the towering shadows.
There's one name, one entity and one aural destruction for all of that.
Hell is Sijjin.

Teratoma (Ger)

Teratoma was summoned in early 2020 by 5 friends from four different countries - boasting with a diverse musical background - who all met in Berlin's underbelly and decided to play their own version of filthy and crushing death metal. After the first year crafting material that came to be the band's debut album, they self recorded those songs during 2021. Early on 2022, 'Purulent Manifestations' was released via Transylvanian Recordings in the USA and by Avantgarde Music (as Unorthodox Emanations) and Desiccated Productions in Europe, receiving great accolades of reviews across the globe. The first live appearances followed with hefty performances alongside the likes of Convulse and Hyperdontia. The album is virtually sold out at this point, only a couple of months after its initial release. 
Teratoma is currently working on new songs and ready to hit the road this summer with Carnal Tomb for a sinister trek over Europe spreading the band's unique blend of bludgeoning death metal forth.

In March 2021, The Rumjacks released their fifth studio album ‘Hestia’, rejuvenating the band's collaborative spirit, and marking an explosive new era of energy and creative release.

Hestia introduced new singer and songwriter Mike Rivkees on lead vocals, heralding a refreshing evolution for the band that connected fans old and new. The album was an unmitigated success, both critically and artistically, and signified a fresh page in the story of The Rumjacks.

Invigorated by the release of Hestia, The Rumjacks quickly went back into the studio to record ‘Brass for Gold’ EP, capitalising off their new sense of artistry.

“
After the amazing response we had from Hestia’s release, we knew we had to back it up, do it justice and show we aren’t messing around with any of this,” Bassist Johnny McKelvey said.

“I guess while COVID ‘slowed everyone down‘ it just made us want to work harder, record more music, plan and think ahead to when all this mess ended that would be ahead in every way”

The resulting EP a clear representation of a band finding a new voice and making sure that voice is heard as loud as possible. Grounded by the eclectic Celtic punk sound that The Rumjacks have become synonymous with, ‘Brass for Gold’ sees the band dig deeper into their ska and hardcore influences, all the while holding onto the defiant energy that ignites their sound.

While ‘Hestia’ had the band conquering a global pandemic in order to record, ‘Brass for Gold’ saw the boys united in person for the first time. Producing a sound that is seamless and cohesive.

“Brass for Gold is as much as an EP can possibly offer and still be called an EP. In true Rumjacker fashion, these songs represent a variety of different stories. The topics range from lovesick nostalgia, to misfortunate war heroes, and a few lighthearted drinking songs for good measure,” Rivkees said.

“
While some EP’s tend to be quite experimental, Brass for Gold represents a solid continuation of the newly reformed Rumjacks. Once again stating (almost literally in some of the lyrics) we are passionate and dedicated songwriters.”

From the raucous comradery of first single ‘One For The Road’ to the crashing crescendo of ‘Blinding Flashes’ to the confident sentimentality of ‘Falling Back’, the cumulative energy of ‘Brass For Gold’ sees the band communicate one thing loud and clear.
