Jeden Montag könnt ihr uns ab 15 Uhr im Kleinen Haus besuchen, bei freiem Eintritt inklusive Getränke, Suppe und Kulturprogramm.

Zum Rosenmontag sprechen wir ab 19:00 Uhr mit Andrea Rudolph- Kustodin für Kultur und Alltagsgeschichte am Stadtmuseeum Dresden über Faschingskultur und Kostümierung in Sachsen und Deutschland.
Nach einem historischen Einblick durch Andrea Rudolph werden wir uns in verschiedenen Stationen selbst auf die Suche begeben: Welche Bedeutung haben Kostüme für uns? Wo liegt die Grenze zwischen Tradition und problematischen Darstellungen? Und Welche Auswirkungen haben kulturelle Aneignung auf mich und meine Mitmenschen?

Kommt vorbei und bringt eure Fragen und Gedanken mit!

Every Monday from 3pm, you can visit us at the Montagscafé at Kleines Haus, where you can enjoy free admission, including drinks, soup and a cultural programme.

On Rosenmontag, from 7pm we will be talking to Andrea Rudolph - curator of culture and everyday history at the Stadtmuseeum Dresden - about carnival culture and costumes in Saxony and Germany.

After a historical insight by Andrea Rudolph, we will go on our own search in various stations: What meaning do costumes have for us? Where is the boundary between tradition and problematic representations? And what effects does cultural appropriation have on me and my fellow human beings?
